Job Description

The CarDomain Network advertising sales team is growing! CarDomain seeks a charismatic, high performance individual to grow into a consultative interactive marketing expert, helping our advertising clients fully realize the value of social networking, viral marketing and interactive advertising. This position will be based in Los Angeles, CA. and report to the Regional Sales Manager, Western US.

Analyze your market, identify key opportunities, and open the door to future potential by conveying the unique value CarDomain offers to help advertisers achieve their objectives. Develop existing relationships into more strategic partnerships, cultivate trust and relationships at the executive level, and evangelize new products and features. Bring demonstrated client-service skills, manage day-to-day activities with our operations staff, and ensure satisfied customers become future references.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Exceptional communication skills in all forms. Very strong strategic value proposition and presentation skills.
  • Excellent business term and contract negotiation skills.
  • Able to easily identify key advertising opportunities and develop value propositions and sales strategies for each
  • Knowledge and track record in all sales activities, including lead generation, prospecting, qualifying, new business pitches, preparation of sales materials and communications, client interaction and entertaining, and the other duties required to successfully manage and develop territories and key accounts.
  • Provide client feedback and competitive insights to sales management regarding advertising rates, programs, special features and strategic initiatives

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in related field
  • 2+ years in online advertising sales experience strongly preferred. Track record in selling technology-based advertising solutions. Ideal candidate will bring a background in online advertising sales, technologies and tactics, negotiation, an understanding of multiple media, media planning and strategy
  • 5+ years relevant industry experience; advertising agency, online media, technology and sales experience strongly preferred
  • Consistent success at exceeding ambitious revenue targets
  • Established senior level contacts within online media agencies and clients, especially in the automotive vertical preferred
  • Combination of large and small company experience is preferred
